About Invisalign® Teen/phase 2 treatment
Invisalign Teen is a type of orthodontic treatment designed specifically for teenagers. It uses a series of clear, removable aligners made of a smooth, comfortable, BPA-free plastic material to gradually shift teeth into their desired position. Invisalign is virtually invisible, which makes them a popular alternative to traditional metal braces for teenagers who are self-conscious about their appearance.
This is classed as a phase 2 treatment if patients have had Phase 1 treatment during the ages of 6-9 yrs. but can also be used as a standalone treatment for children and teens from the age of 10 upwards.

Invisalign® Teen FAQs
The treatment plan is formulated by the orthodontist. A series of aligners are fabricated according to the movements required. Each set of aligners is worn for 5-10 days before being discarded and moving on to the next set.
Yes, there are small white filling attachments glued to the teeth to help them move in the desired direction. These are called attachments.
Invisalign® Teen give the orthodontist the option of a 3-5 year treatment window.
Treatment time depends on the severity of the crowding, whether phase 1 treatment has been carried out and whether the braces are worn as instructed.
The brace is worn all the time and only removed for eating.
